NCI Contracts for Construction Managment

NCI has contracted for the Construction Management of the new library at St Martin's College in Lacey, WA. The new $10 million facility, designed by Michael Graves, is set for ground breaking on September 9th, 1999.

NCI Constructs New 14,000 s.f. Facility for Merrill Lynch in Tacoma, WA

October, 1998 - NCI has completed an extensive renovation of the 18th floor of the Wells Fargo Plaza building to house the new Tacoma offices of Merrill Lynch. The project was completed in approximately 13 weeks. Scope of work included complete redesign of both the mechanical and electrical systems, an audio/visual training center, a gallery/rotunda area in the main lobby, and highly figured maple woodwork throughout. Truly one of the most elegant offices in the Tacoma area, NCI is very proud to have been a part of the project team. We would also like to thank and congratulate the other members of the project team for a job well done. Those members include Interior Architects, San Francisco, CA; Boullion, Inc., Seattle, WA; Trammell Crow Company, Seattle, WA; Unico Properties and the Wells Fargo Plaza staff; and the real estate/construction management division of Merrill Lynch.

NCI to Assist Eagle Hardware & Garden in West Coast Expansion

NCI is pleased to welcome Eagle Hardware & Garden as one of our newest retail customers! Eagle has chosen NCI to construct the kitchen & bath display areas at several new stores across the western U.S. NCI has finished work in the new store at Smokey Point, Washington, and remodeled areas in Aurora, Colorado, Northglenn, Colorado and Torrence California. With several more stores in the pipeline, we look forward to working with the region's leading home improvement retailer for many years to come.

New Skyway Park Bowl & Casino Open for Business

NCI has completed the casino expansion at Skyway Park Bowl, in Renton, Washington. With several gaming tables, lounge, food service, and a new pro shop in the works, this facility will provide area residents with a variety of entertainment opportunities.

CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT: FRANCISCAN HEALTH SYSTEM/CHI

All of us at NCI would like to take a moment to recognize one of our most loyal customers: Franciscan Health System/Catholic Health Initiatives. FHS/CHI is one of our area's leading health care organizations, and NCI has performed work in FHS managed properties all over the South Puget Sound area. Besides the renovation of the new CHI West Regional Service Center in 1997, NCI completed several tenant improvement projects at the St. Francis Medical Building in Federal Way, WA during the summer of 1998. Upcoming in the fall of 1998, NCI is set to renovate the radiology area at St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, WA and the Century Plaza Pharmacy at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. All of us at NCI would like to thank the FHS/CHI West staff for their continuing loyalty and repeat business that has been a crucial factor in the success of NCI.
